All payments attract an additional bank charge.
Fees charged by the department are provided for under the law in the twenty-second schedule of the Registration of Titles Act CAP 230.
- An additional UGX 2,000 is charged for lodging an instrument of lease, sub-lease, or mortgage in triplicate.
- For instruments or documents dealing with more than one certificate of title, mortgage, or lease, UGX 5,000 is charged for each additional entry.
- For the perusal of powers of attorney, memoranda, articles of a limited liability company, rules or by-laws of a charter, or other corporate body constitutions, an additional UGX 2,000 is charged.
